Charlotte Ann Holcomb

Charlotte Ann Nation Holcomb, age 70, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. 

Born on October 19, 1951, in Toccoa, she was a daughter of the late Willie Lee Nation and Bonnie Estell Mans. Mrs. Holcomb was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a unit secretary with 22 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, William James Bowden; sisters, Vicky Watkins and Debra Ryals. 

Survivors include son, Kenneth Brian Bowden of Mt. Airy; grandsons, William Zack Bowden of Mt. Airy (U.S. Navy) and Brian Dale Bowden of Mt. Airy; brother, Billy Gregory Nation of Lakeland, Florida; sisters, Carolyn Nation of Carnesville, and Shirley Tharp of Cottondale, Florida. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 11 am until 2 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
