Barbara Ann Barton

Barbara Ann Barton, 69, of Gainesville entered rest Saturday July 30, 2022 at her residence.

Barbara was born May 28, 1953 in Gainesville to the late Arthur T. Dover & the late Nellie Fowler Flanagan. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Dale Barton; brothers, Junior, James, Steve & Charles Dover; sister, Essie Mae Dover.   

Left to cherish memories, children, son, David Barton; daughters, Jamie (Adam) Lee & Janice Lynn Barton; brother, Robert Flanagan; sisters, Linda Rider & Joyce Mitchell; 8 grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

A visitation to honor Barbara will be held Tuesday August 2, 2022 at the Ward’s Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at Alta Vista Cemetery.
