Gary Thomas Goss

Gary Thomas Goss, 77, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by daughter, Teresa Goss Hutchins on January 26, 2022; parents, Rev. Luther Goss and Vernia Millsaps Goss; and sister, Diane Queen. Mr. Goss is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Novella Goss of Suwanee; daughter, Lisa Goss (Scottie) Seymour of Oakwood, GA; son-in-law, Douglas Todd Hutchins of Flowery Branch, GA; grandson, Chandler Pendley; brothers, Larry Goss, Michael Goss, and Terry Goss; sister, Debbie Quinn (Schronce); brothers-in-law, Wayne Queen and James (Brenda) Proctor; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary was born on July 29, 1944 in McCaysville, GA and graduated from West Fannin High School in Blue Ridge, GA. He was a welder and was chosen to do the welding on the Cinderella Castle at Disney World in Orlando, FL, and then he worked at General Motors where he retired after twenty-two years. Gary was a very kind and giving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was of the Baptist faith, and knew his Bible from beginning to end. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. at Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery in McCaysville, GA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31 at the Flanigan Funeral Home.
