Mr. Clarence Huel Holcomb, age 85 of Dawsonville, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Accent Care Hospice Care in Cumming following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Ricky Stepp will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Holcomb was born September 14, 1936 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Clarence Holcomb and Hassie Palmer Holcomb. He was retired from Milton Foods as a truck driver and attended Chestatee Worship Center. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Hazel Banks and Pat Minish and his brothers, Dalmer Holcomb and Reynolds Holcomb.
Mr. Holcomb is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elaine Stowers Holcomb of Dawsonville, his children, Regina & Ricky Stepp of Dawsonville, Ginger & Alan Webb of Alto, Mike & Sue Holcomb of Clarkesville, Mark & Jodie Holcomb of Clarkesville, Rex & Terri Johnson of Dawsonville, Roy Crowe of Toccoa, Mark Hamby of Dawsonville and Danny & Christy Hamby of Dawsonville, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sister, Lucille Kinsey of Gainesville and many other relatives and friends.
