Derek Emanuel Watkins

Mr. Derek Emanuel Watkins, age 34, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Mr. Watkins was born in Hall County and was a Forklift operator for Tri County Builders.  Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by brothers, Jody Watkins and Phillip Watkins; and grandparents, Lonnie and Lois Gooch, Jerry Watkins, and Donna Funderburk.

Survivors include wife, Angela Watkins, Cleveland; parents, Randall and Yvonne Watkins, Cleveland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2022 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Jody Winkler, Rev. Calvin Gooch, Rev. Kevin Gooch, and Rev. Danny Kastner will officiate.  Interment will follow in Liberty Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and from 6-8 P.M. Friday, July 29, 2022 at the funeral home.
