Patsy Hodges

Obituary Date: Sunday, July 24, 2022
Patsy Bryson Hodges was born December 17, 1945 in Lula, Ga and departed this life on July 24, 2022. She attended Fair Street and E. E. Butler High School, where she was crowned Ms.
Maroon and White. She worked for Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co and retired after 32 years of service.
She enjoyed traveling, bingo, sporting events and spoiling her grandkids. In her youth, Patsy was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, Lula, Ga and then was a longtime member of
Mt. Zion Baptist Church, were she served on the usher board and as a volunteer throughout the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dovie Bryson, and her sisters, Bobbie Cleveland and Peggy Sellers. She will be deeply missed by her children: Hirin( Sharon)
Hodges, Flowery Branch; Vanedra (Leslie) Smith, Woodbridge, Va.; Felix (Karen) Hodges, Killeen,Tx; Miranda Sykes, Flowery
Branch; Fertina Brown, Hampton, Ga. and Siblings: Carolyn Martin, Toccoa; Mary Jean Crumpler, Toccoa; Kermit Martin, Jr., Toccoa; Tony Martin, Easley, South Carolina. She was also
beloved and cherished by a host of grand kids and great grand kids. The Visitation will be held Friday, July 29th between the hours of 12-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends between the hours of
6-8pm. Ms. Hodges' Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 30th at the hour of 1pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
