John Anderson (Andy) Boatwright, III

John Anderson (Andy) Boatwright, III passed away in Albuquerque, NM on April 24, 2022, from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. Andy was born in Atlanta, GA to John “Jack” and Margaret “Marney” Boatwright on June 1, 1949, but lived most of his young life in Clarkesville, GA. Andy was an engineer by trade but a musician by heart and loved spending time in nature. His love for his fellow man led him on many humanitarian projects; while in New York where he went to college, he met the love of his life, Avy. Ultimately, he landed in New Mexico where the desert beauty and climate captured his spirit. 

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his loving wife, Avy Prak; son, Nora (Arlene) Santhoeurn; grandchildren, Vianca Chavez, Kayla Chavez and Mathieus Santhoeurn; brother, Hamp (Malissa) Boatwright; sisters, Hannah (Doug) Little and April (Pedro) Sandoval and many nieces and nephews.
