Joan Elaine West Loudermilk

Joan Elaine West Loudermilk, age 83 of Clarkesville, Georgia and formerly of Mount Airy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born in Schenectady, New York on January 02, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Arthur & Grace Crandal West. Joan worked with First National Bank for many years, Scovill Manufacturing, & retired after 31 years of dedicated service as a receptionist with Fieldale Farms Corporation. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and taking care of her animals. Most of all, Joan enjoyed precious time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Oliver Loudermilk & several siblings.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Thomas L. & Cyndilyn Loudermilk of Baldwin, GA; daughter, Lori Ann Loudermilk of Clarkesville, GA; grandchildren, Breana & Nicolas Meister of Baldwin, GA; Shelby & Daniel Fowler of Cornelia, GA; step-grandson, Jacob Pinion of Commerce, GA; great-grandchildren, Kimber, Kash, & Kora Meister of Baldwin, GA as well as other relatives, & friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Nicolas Meister officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022.
