Mr. Tommy O’Neal Taylor age 73 of Toccoa passed away July 7, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A son of the late Edd and Sarah Lou Ivester Taylor, he was born July 27, 1948 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in North Carolina. He was a retired Security Guard in North Carolina before moving back to Toccoa in 2016. He was a graduate of Toccoa High School and was a member of Toccoa Church of God. He is preceded in death by a sister Cathy Woodward.
Survivors include his son Steven Taylor of Toccoa, cousin Russell Kurt of Toccoa and a niece Samantha Smith of Greenwood, South Carolina.
Graveside services will be held Monday July 18, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Prospect Church Cemetery with the Reverend Austin Ivester officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from noon until service time.
Interment will follow in Prospect Church Cemetery.
