Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Gary Adams, age 73 of Scott Circle, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
A son of the late Doyle L. and Betty Nimmons Adams, he was born October 23, 1948 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Alpharetta, Georgia and Hinesville, Georgia before moving back to Toccoa in 1983. He had worked at numerous places over the years, Toccoa Foundry, Georgia Power, Shrimp Boat, Aeroquip and Nampac. He loved racing, fishing, art and motorcycles. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Segars.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Mary Roberts Adams; son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Raikol Adams of Toccoa; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Shawn Bailey of Toccoa, Carmen and Tony Harris of Cornelia and Deneil Thompson of Toccoa; grandchildren, Lynsie Adams, Rheanna Adams, Kaytlin Bailey, Taylor Bailey, Hannah Bailey, Zane Bailey, Naomi Bailey, Paul Harris, Rebekah Harris, Jaimie King and Stephanie Murray; great-grandchildren, Andrew Graham, Whitney Smith, Christopher Thompson, Calin Murray, Liam Galloway and Hadley Harris; sister, Brenda Adams of Toccoa; brother-in-law, Todd Segars of Commerce, Georgia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darrell and Debbie Edenfield; a number of nieces and nephews; best friends, Walter and Sara Andrews of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 17, 2022, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Don Scott officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Paul Harris, Grayson Segars, Todd Segars, Jeremy Andrews, Jamie Stewart and Heath Lyles.

Interment will follow in the Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Adams.
