Carolyn Jane Eckert

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Carolyn Jane Smith Eckert, age 86, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday July 13, 2022. Mrs. Eckert was born in Gloverville, New York the daughter of the late Scott Smith and Charlotte Miracle Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hayward Eckert, grandson, Joshua Vauiso, sister, Mabel Klonowski and a brother, James Smith.

Mrs. Eckert worked as a manager with Ferguson Convenient Stores, Lawrenceville, Georgia and was a homemaker.

Survivors include daughter, Katina Vauiso (David) of Orlando, FL. Son, William Scott Eckert (Catherine) of Jefferson, GA. Three grandchildren, Sarah Vauiso, Megan Bahtijaragi and Joseph Eckert. Six great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday July 17, 2022, at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens 87 Scenic Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
