Benny Ray Pate

Benny Ray Pate, age 65, of Clarkesville, GA passed away on July 10, 2022. He is preceded in death by his son Nathan Randall Pate, who is buried at Georgia National Cemetery.

Benny is survived by his wife: Roberta Akin, son: Daniel Pate (Laura) of Smyrna, GA, mother: Janice Pate Dikilato, father: Wallace Daniel Pate, son in law: Cameron Creech and sister: Nancy Gault of Smyrna, GA.

Benny was an avid golfer. He served first in the Army and then the Airforce. He is also a veteran of Desert Shield.

The family will receive friends at McDonald and Son Funeral Home Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 12:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm. He will be buried at Georgia National Cemetery at a later date.
