Carolyn Elda Conway Ebert, born January 25, 1938, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022 at the age of 84. She was the daughter of Everet Dye Conway and Mildred Lathers. She was the wife of Maurice James (Jim) Ebert. She was born in Johnstown, NY.
Carolyn married her childhood sweetheart, neighbor and classmate in 1957. They were married for 64 wonderful years. She graduated from Johnstown High School, where she was a member of the National Honors Society. She then attended Albany Business College.
She worked for the Dekalb Association of Realtors and Georgia Multiple Listing Service from 1968-1998. She retired after 30 years as the Executive Vice President of the Dekalb County Board of Realtors. She served and chaired several committees of the Georgia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Carolyn was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming, GA. She served on the Executive Board of the NEGA Medical Center's Auxiliary team.
She is survived by her husband M.J. (Jim) Ebert. Her son James (Jimmy) Ebert (Robin). Grandchildren: Matthew James Ebert, Amelia Ebert, Alaina Ebert Brown (Stephen), Sidney Sears and Sandy Greene. Great Grandchildren: Brooklynn Sears, Nolan and Kate Brown. Nephew: Stefan Turkheimer (Emma).
The family will receive friends and family at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13th from 6-8pm. Mass will be held on Friday, July 15th at 11:00am at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Mass can be viewed on the Good Shepherd Church's facebook page.
