Kathy Jeanene Woody

Mrs. Kathy Jeanene Woody, 70, of Clermont, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Woody will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born October 28, 1951 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of Rev. William Joseph Lawson and the late Betty Constance Whitmire Lawson. She was retired from the Hall County School System where she was a Parapro. Mrs. Woody was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She was a born again believer and faithful follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to her mother, Betty Constance Lawson, Mrs. Woody was preceded in death by her husband, William H. (Bill) Woody, Jr.

Mrs. Woody is survived by her children, William Brian Woody (SaDonna) of Oakwood, Kevin Woody (Tanya) of Clermont, Misty Adams (Dayrl) of Flowery Branch; four grandchildren, Will, Wyatt, Bella and Bliss Woody; father, Rev. William J. “Bill” Lawson of Cleveland; sister, Connie East of Dahlonega; brothers, Steve Lawson of Watkinsville, Greg Lawson of Peoria, IL; mother in law, Juanita Woody; husband, Steve Deming of Gainesville and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other loving relatives.
