David C Asher

David C. Asher, age 77, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away on July 7, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Maud Bowles Asher; brothers, Craig Asher and LaVern Asher; sister, Shirley Stevens.  Mr. Asher is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tina Asher; son, Jeffrey Asher of Dawsonville, GA; daughter Angela Ann Smith of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Bonna Lucas of Buford, GA and LaVon Johnson of Cleveland TN; six grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Asher was born on December 11, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio.  He graduated from Madison Academy in Madison, TN, attended Southern Adventist College and one year at Dental Medical College.  Mr. Asher was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was a home builder and remodeler and enjoyed coin collecting and woodworking.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Pastor Scott Annis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the Service at the funeral home.
