Andrea (Machi) Chrysanthis Lee, 63, of Dahlonega, Georgia; passed away on June 29th, 2022 following a long and hard battle with cancer. Machi was born in Pensacola, Florida and raised in Atlanta. The family moved to Dahlonega in 1993 to raise the children in a wonderful, small community.
She was a loving mother who would do anything for her children. She was a standout in the community, living here almost 30 years and was involved in many businesses and peoples’ lives. She always wanted to make sure the people she cared about were taken care of. She was also known for being a spitfire when pushed to a certain point. People that knew her have seen the fire that kept her fighting so long to beat this terrible disease. She will be deeply missed by her family and this community.
Machi is survived by her mother Catherine Pataki, her son Michael (Michelle) Lee; daughter Christina Lee; grandson Greyson Lee; and brother Tommy (Bridgett) Chrysanthis. The family will receive friends on July 16th from 3pm to 6pm in Hancock Park for a celebration of life. Please bring stories, pictures and memories.
