Edna Elise Davidson Wade, age 90, of Lula, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022.
Born on August 19, 1931, she was a daughter of the late William Gratt “Bill” Davidson and Mary Elizabeth Wiley Davidson. Mrs. Wade enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, cooking and an avid reader. She was a member of Yonah Congregational Holiness Church where she was actively involved in the Ladies Club. Mrs. Wade loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Talmadge Wade; sisters, Hazel Miller, Ruby White, Lois Stephens and Christine Masters; sister-in-law, Betty Haff Davidson; brother-in-law, Johnny Wilbanks.
Survivors include, sons and daughter-in-law, Ray Wade (Sue) of Lula, Billy Wade of Lula; brother, Jack Davidson of Lula; sister, Juanita Wilbanks of Lula; grandchildren and spouses, April Crocker (Rev. Deron) of Lula, Chassie Corbin (LTC James Corbin, US Army) of Lula; great-grandchildren, Jonah Crocker, Brody Crocker, Sidney Corbin, Amelia Corbin and Barrett Corbin; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Yonah Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Deron Crocker, Rev. John Umberhant and Rev. Leon Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Yonah Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the funeral home.
