Dawn Howser Oliver age 50, of Clermont died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on July 5th, 2022, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dawn was born February 16th, 1972, in Gainesville, GA to Brenda Gee Howser and Wayne Howser. She was a 1990 graduate from East Hall High School, where was an avid basketball player. She was a beloved hairdresser at 2 Shae salon. She loved working with her special friends Sharon, Shay, and Kim.
Dawn is survived by her beloved husband Wade Oliver and precious daughter Emma Gowan; her parents, Brenda Gee Howser, Wayne and Paula Howser; her sister, Danna (Gary); special nieces, Mckenzie (Jason), Logan, Amber (Kyle) and Ally (Trent); special aunt, Ann Bryant Melton; father-in-law, Donald; brothers-in-law, Dustin (Julie), and Wesley; former husband and father to their daughter, Roger Gowan; and lots of special cousins and friends.
Besides spending time with her family and friends, Dawn had a passion for working out, and running with her beloved dog, Honey! Dawn had a bright and energetic personality and was known for ability to sense when people needed her help. She was a good friend! She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.
Special thanks to Theresa and Dr. Allan Panter, Kim Buffington, and Kim Dale for all the extra medical care and love. Many thanks to all the churches for food, prayer and for loving on our family during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church cemetery.
