Malissa Alisson

Obituary Date: Thursday, June 30, 2022

Malissa Alisson, 47 of Lula passed away on June 30, 2022.

Malissa Diane Allison was born on May 3rd, 1975 in Atlanta, GA.

She married Dennis Ray Allison of Hall County Georgia on March 21, 1993. The two of them have three surviving children and six grandchildren: Ashley Allison, mother to Bronson and Noah Frix of Fort Smith, AR; Haley Allison, mother to Karsyn Parris and Kohen and Kyle Wilson of Athens, GA; and Brandon Allison, father to Tatum Allison of Tucson, AZ.

In addition, Malissa Allison is also survived by her parents Carol and Danny Sargent; sister, Christina Donino; and brothers, Timmy, Brian, and Tommy Hazelrig.

Malissa is one who will always be remembered. Despite the trials that she faced, she would always come out even stronger. She was a warrior and a soldier, but now she is an Angel. There was a plan and a purpose to all that she experienced on her journey. She discovered her true self. Not only did she find herself, but she found God. She turned her life to Him and lived her higher purpose through God. She had a passion of his glory along with many other things. She enjoyed to treat herself with makeup, jewelry, and scary movies. Above all her many talents though, her art for nails were absolutely stunning. Nothing was half done by her. She also went the extra mile for everyone she knew. Malissa was a giver, a lover, and a fighter. She is entirely an admirable woman, and will always be remembered for her free spirit.

Graveside Service will be on Friday, July 8 at 2:00pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Lula.
