Bonnie Mae Jones Lingerfelt

Mrs. Bonnie Mae Jones Lingerfelt, age 98 of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. She was born on October 2, 1923 to the late Walter Jones and the late Izora Wheeler Jones.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Lingerfelt; son Harold Lingerfelt; granddaughter Tina Davidson Ball; and siblings Johnny Paul Jones and Bruce Jones.

She is survived by her children, Paul (Edna) Lingerfelt of Gainesville and Joni West of Murrayville; daughter-in-law Janice Lingerfelt; siblings Glendon (Claudine) Jones and Marylou Gooch; and grandchildren Misty (Chris) Keistler, Justin Floyd, Ben West, James Waters, Jeremy Waters and Scott Waters. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem-Jones Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
