Miss Lauren Ashley Thompson, 26, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Leon Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, June 29th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born July 21, 1995, she was the daughter of Marty Thompson and Stephanie Williams Bolding. Miss Thompson graduated from Johnson High School. She was employed as a receptionist for Urgent Care Peachtree Medical in Athens. Ashley shined as bright as the stars in the sun. She was a loving, caring, beautiful and the strongest women I know. Ashley had a special bond with her brother, Austin, when she loved you she loved you hard with all her being.  She had a beautiful soul and heart.  The most precious Angel God has given us.  Fly high sweet baby girl.  You will be truly missed.

Miss Thompson was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Trellis Brumbalow.

Miss Thompson is survived by her mother, Stephanie Bolding of Gainesville; father, Marty Thompson of Flowery Branch; brother, Austin Thompson of Gainesville; grandmother and grandfather, Peggy and Danny Cronic of Gainesville; aunt, Brittany Cronic of Gainesville; great aunts, Janice Jasper of Gainesville, Connie Whitey of Jefferson, Lisa Seabolt of Cleveland; great grandmother, Martha Fultz of Gainesville; best friend, Karis Sloan of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.
