Mr. Rocky Joe Hammond, age 61, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022.
Mr. Hammond was born in Gainesville, GA to the late Mr. James T. Hammond and Betty Jo Gill Payne. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Snyder. Rocky was a United States Army Veteran and was of the Christian faith.
Rocky is survived by his daughters, Whitney Hammond, Pendergrass, GA and Jessica Hammond Elvis, Greenville, SC; stepfather and wife, Ray and Peggy Payne, Cleveland, GA; sisters, Pamela Vrooman, Angie Ogletree and Wendy Sargent all of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Taylor, Jon Michael, Matthew, Chesnee and Quinn. A host of other relatives also survive.
