Lela Louise Patterson McNeal

Mrs. Lela Louise Patterson McNeal, 86, of Flowery Branch, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Manor Lake.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Wilson, Rev. Jason Buffington and Rev. James England will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Tuesday, June 21st from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born July 12, 1935 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Holman “Bud” Patterson and the late Cleo Ogle Patterson. Mrs. McNeal was retired from Wrigley’s and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McNeal was preceded in death by her husband, Winston McNeal; son, James (Junior) McNeal; brother in law, Leroy Truelove and sister in law, Jean Patterson.

Mrs. McNeal is survived by her son and daughter in law, Tim and Lisa McNeal of Flowery Branch; daughter in law, Cheryl McNeal of Gainesville; grandchildren, Dustin and Heather McNeal, Bradon and Hannah McNeal, Michael McNeal, Kimberly Allen; great grandchildren, Makenzie Allen, Katie McNeal, Maverick McNeal, Annie McNeal, Indie McNeal; sister, Betty Truelove of Gainesville; brother, Billy Patterson of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Bobby and Doris Patterson of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
