Bobby Joe Perry

Bobby Joe Perry, 32, of Gainesville, GA passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  He attended church at The Refuge Pillar of Fire, Murrayville, GA.  Bobby Joe loved to fish, hunt, playing his guitar, and listening to music.  He was a avid dart thrower and usually beat everyone he played against.  He was a maintenance supervisor for John Soules Poultry, Gainesville, GA.  He never met a stranger, and loved GOD, his momma, riding around with his friends, and especially his tattoos. His family and friends will forever miss his smile, laugh, positive attitude, and being the rock, everyone could depend on. 

He is preceded in death by his birth father, Bobby Gene Perry; father, Stanley Thomas; aunt, Lisa Perry; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Mavis Deanna Perry of Dahlonega, GA; sisters, Justa Ayers of Holly Hills, FL, Sandie Thomas of Warren, NC, Brandie Thomas of Gainesville, GA, Terri Thomas Morris of Gainesville, GA; special life time friend, Brandi Smith of FL; aunt and uncle, Kathy Martin and Tyler Brewer of Dawsonville, GA; aunt, Frankie Thomas Martin of Gainesville, GA; uncles, Lamar Thomas of Gainesville, GA, Jerry Thomas of Gainesville, GA, Frankie Perry of Dahlonega, GA; favorite cousin/sister, Kaitlin Brewer-Warren and her husband Ben Warren of Dawsonville, GA; and numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Adam Moody and Brittany Dale will officiate. 

The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
