Alvera Ladwig Christensen

Alvera Ladwig Christensen, age 86, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William L. Christensen; son, Bryan Christensen; son-in-law, James Summerville.  Mrs. Christensen is survived by her children, Cheryl (John) Kuntz of Tacoma, WA, Michael (Maria) Christensen of Renton, WA, Gayle Summerville of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Jessica (Josh) Howard of Graham, WA, Sara Christensen of Tacoma, WA, Samantha Summerville of Flowery Branch, GA; great-granddaughter, Hailey Howard; sister, Lorraine Dee Easley; several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Christensen was born on December 15, 1935 in the state of Washington.  She was a homemaker and member of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, Lawrenceville, GA.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Julie Ehlers-King.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Flanigan Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
