Daniel Anthony “Tony” Malloway, 79, of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Madelyn Malloway; sister, Marlene Piper; brother-in-law, Milton Brogdon; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nelson and Birdie Brogdon. Mr. Malloway is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Rosemary Brogdon Malloway of Buford, GA; son, Daniel Neil Malloway of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Wendy (Matthew) Poste; grandsons, Johnny Hunter and Luke Poste, all of Buford, GA; brother-in-law, Bobby Piper of Miami, FL; sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Joe) Chesser of Buford, GA and Wanda Blan (Larry Berry) of Sugar Hill, GA; brother-in-law, Lanier Brogdon of Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Gwen Garner Brogdon of Sugar Hill, GA; and golf buddies, Harold Sharpe and David Graybeal. Many incredible nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Mr. Malloway was born September 24, 1942 in Atlanta, GA and was a 1960 graduate of Joe E. Brown High School in Atlanta. He attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, and was the owner and President of United Creditor Association for over fifteen years. He was a member of Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Atlanta, where he and Rosemary were married. He was an avid golfer, and played tennis. Tony enjoyed spending time with his buddies, Wayne Ash and Don Stephens. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Connie Thomas Berry officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stonepile Baptist Church, 2394 Stonepile Rd., Clarkesville, GA 30523 in memory of Tony Malloway.
