Darlene Lord

Darlene Lord, 59, of Cumming passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.

Born November 12, 1962, she was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County.  Darlene was a member of Cumming Second Baptist Church and for many years worked in data processing for State Farm Insurance.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains and was deeply devoted to her family.  She would always be there to love and support them all.  Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Quinton and Laura Lord and her best friend since childhood, Rhonda.

Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Audie and Jennifer; niece and nephew, James (Melissa), Audume (Zac); great-nieces, Addi, Scarlett; her companion, Nelson; special niece, Tori; other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Stephen Davis will officiate.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8 at the funeral home.
