Deborah Viola Lyle was born on June 11, 1960 in Winder, Georgia to the late John Willie Lyle and Annie Mae Campbell both of Winder. She was called home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2022. She was a graduate of Winder Barrow High school, class of 1978. She worked over the years as a garment specialist until she became disabled. Deborah had a passion for Christ, Love, and writing. She used poetry as an outlet to help encourage, motivate, comfort, and spread the word of God. She was a member of Victory Deliverance Center of Winder, Ga and was the Mother of the Church. Deborah was a faithful servant of the Lord. She had a deep spiritual connection with God. Deborah enjoyed Living Life. She lived every day as if it was her last. She loved dancing, making people laugh, and loving her family. Deborah never meet a stranger, and she gave everyone she meet their own unique nick name. She was well known by her nickname “Delicious” Sholl is. Preceding her in death 2 sisters, Cynthia Lyle Shaw, Sherry Lyle Williams, 1 uncle Joe Davis, step mom Peggy Lyle, 1 Aunt Maudine Riley, 2 nephews Keyvin Jones and Jonta Pope Sr. Deborah leaves to cherish in her memories her companion of 9 years Gregory Mathis, her 3 children, Tyran (Santora)Phillips Sr., Bulinda (Leticia) Lawson, Constance (Daniel) Lyle Slaughter, all of Winder, Ga. 7 Grandkids, DeBrasha Lyle, Chrishun Barnes, DaNaisha Slaughter, Trinity Maxey, Taylor Long, T.J Phillips Jr., Damari Slaughter, Damiyah Slaughter, 1 Great Grandson, D.J Hall. 5 sisters, Rosetta (Dennis) Evans, Anita (Gregory) Wilhite, Patty Lyle, Regena (Rudy) Lyle Curry, Sybil (Ben) Lyle Evans, 4 Brothers, Donnie Riley, David (Kelly) Lyle, Jurrod (Linnea) Campbell, Shumar Riden, 3 Aunts Dot, Jeanette, and Ann Riley. Deborah also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to cherish her memories with whom she carried a special bond with and loved dearly. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5th at White Oak Spring Baptist Church between the hours of 4-7pm. Ms.Lyle's Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 6th at White Oak Spring Baptist Church at the hour of 3pm. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
