Clark Monroe “Ricky” Gunn

Clark Monroe “Ricky” Gunn, age 65 of Lula, Georgia took his heavenly flight home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 03, 2022.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on July 30, 1956, he was a son of the late Homer Gunn & the late Kathryn Maughon Gunn Duncan. Ricky retired after many years of being a self-employed carpenter. He was a very loving person and always willing to help others. Ricky enjoyed vegetable & flower gardening, tending to his animals, and was an accomplished artist. He was a loving husband, devoted brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Ricky will be missed beyond measure. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Judy Elaine Gunn of Lula, GA; children, Jennifer & Anthony DeFoor of Mount Airy, GA; Gregory Clark Gunn of Clarkesville, GA; John Watts of Toccoa, GA; brother, Anthony Gunn of Clarkesville, GA; sisters, Audrey Wilson, Kathy Canup, both of Demorest, GA; Shelia Williams, Robin Matthews, Karen Cash all of Clarkesville, GA; grandchildren, Corvin Nero Parham, Colston Shoal Moulder, Asher Declan Moulder, Kinley Breann DeFoor, Avery William DeFoor, Ian Ander Oakes DeFoor, Adia Enna Ryn DeFoor,  Connor Dale Allen, Zadie Keegan Lyric Pitts, Lyla Susan Diane Rowell, Katelynn Abigail Thomas, Anna Marie Watts, Cameron Blake Watts, Evelyn Grace Watts; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, & a host of friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 06, 2022 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Connie Berry officiating. Interment will follow in the Demorest City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 05, 2022.
