H.D. Major, 81, of Cumming passed away Friday, June 3, 2022. H.D. was a loving husband, father and grandfather, retiring after 44 years from the Coca Cola Company. His last years were spent caring for his wife, Wilma B. Major, until her recent passing. He loved the Lord and was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. He and his wife loved visiting many churches in the area.
Survivors include his daughters, Cindy (Carl) Badgett of Cumming, Loretta (Fred) Margolis of Edgewater, MD; grandchildren, Emily King and Chris Arcangeli.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
