Mrs. Lucille Ethel Weathers Nelson, 98, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Emory Hospital of Decatur.
Born on January 16, 1924 in Wake County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Tryon Perry Weathers and the late Mattie Lou Hucklebee Weathers. She was retired from the Furniture sales industry and was a member of Emorywood Baptist Church in High Point, NC.
Mrs. Nelson is survived by her son, John Nelson of Gainesville; grandsons, Garett Nelson (Alison) of Canton, Alex Nelson of Buford and granddaughter Jackie Kanoy of Irmo, SC.
