Randall Evans Sisk I

Obituary Date: Friday, May 27, 2022
Mr. Randall Evans Sisk, I, age 58, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Josh Davidson and Chaplain William DuBois will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Flowers accepted, but donations can be made to the Diabetes Association or any charity of your choosing in his memory.

Born on June 14, 1963 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late William Clayton Sisk and the late Elizabeth Mildred Cotton Sisk. He was a graduate of East Hall High School and a member of New Holland Baptist Church.

Randy never met a stranger; he loved fierce and hard.  He went about everything with 110% effort and it was that way until the very end. The one thing that he conveyed to all was that he knew what his convictions were and that he was a child of God. As he made the decision to go on hospice care, he told his family and his doctors, “I don’t need any of this any longer.  I am going to glory!”

During his lifetime, he coached Park and Recreation Football, Basketball, T-Ball, Softball and Baseball Teams in the Tadmore area for many years. While he loved the games, he loved working with the kids even more. Later in life, he was a father figure to many different young people, some of whom actually came to live with him and his wife when they needed to and he loved and counted them as his own.  He was also a fur baby lover and rescued many dogs and cats over the years that he helped to find homes for.

Randy had many jobs over the years; he was a natural salesman and was very good at it.  He was self-employed for a number of years through a cleaning company that he and his family started.  However, the job that he loved the most was as a Special Education Paraprofessional at East Hall Middle School where he worked with special needs students - he loved them everyone!

He was a wonderful, supportive and loving son, brother, husband, father, granddaddy, and friend to us.  He will be sorely missed and forever loved!

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by his father in law, Hollis Seagraves; brothers in law, Donald Carver, and Scott Anacker and beloved family friend, Evans Hatfield.

Mr. Sisk is survived by his loving wife, Alisa Seagraves Sisk of Gainesville; daughter, Erin Gosset (Cody) of Flowery Branch; son, Randall Evans Sisk, II of Gainesville; grandchildren, Emory Sisk, Kinley Cain; brothers, Clayton Sisk (Pam) of Gainesville, Scottye Sisk  (Pat) of Flowery Branch; sisters, Bonnie Smith (Grady) of Alto, Vanissa Carver of Flowery Branch; mother in law, Pat Seagraves of Gillsville; sister in law, Anne Anacker of Buford; Special family friend - Jed Norris (Emily), Houston, Alaska; Fur Babies - Rocco, Willie, Fifi, Carlos, 543, and Cosmo and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
