Brenda Ann Fortner

Mrs. Brenda Ann Fortner, age 58 of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. She was born on August 9, 1963 to the late Johnny and Betty Raines. Brenda will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will also be remembered as a hard worker, working side by side with her husband Jimmy for many years in the concrete industry. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Dianne Cantrell. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jimmy Fortner of Dahlonega; brother, Daniel (Karen) Raines of Dahlonega; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2022 in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday and 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
