Carl Russell Postlewate

Mr. Carl Russell Postlewate, age 76 of Buford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at his home.

Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Adam Blatt will officiate. 

Mr. Postlewate was born July 26, 1945 to the late Evelyn & Carl R. Postlewate in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He retired from the Corp of Engineers and went on to achieve Senior Executive Service status with the Corp of Engineers. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Merdes Postlewate; daughters & sons-in-law, Jana & Michael Lampe; Rachel & Michael Roeder; and Megan & Chad Luce; brother, Richard Postlewate; Sisters, Maureen Warren, and Tammy Jackson; sister & brother-in-law, Vickie & Shane Skelley; grandchildren, Marin Lampe, Cameron Roeder, Nicholas Roeder, Melana Lampe, Lily Roeder, Ayrton Luce, Eden Luce, and Stella Luce.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Hayes.
