Mrs. Fannie Bell Black Satterfield, age 84, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
Fannie was born in Lumpkin County on November 27, 1937 to the late Tate and Bertha Saine Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Willie Black, Bud Black, Dude Black, Vernon Black, Bill Black, Maybell Gaddis and Anna Bell Justus.
Survivors include her son J. Tim Satterfield, Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law Jamie and Sharon Satterfield, Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Jacob (Madison) Satterfield, Charlotte, NC and Caroline Satterfield, Philadelphia, PA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Besides the love and pride of her sons and grandchildren, she was an avid gardener. She spent many hours cultivating her yard with beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees. Her family will enjoy the fruits of her labor for years to come.
The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
