Sheila Ann Smith Bickerstaff, 62 of Winder passed away Monday May 16, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.
Born in Commerce, Georgia, Mrs. Bickerstaff had lived in Hall County for a number of years before moving to Winder, Ga. a number of years ago. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Herman and Dorothy Cantrell Smith. She had worked at Chicopee Manufacturing for a number of years, and also at the Ace Hardware Distribution Center. Mrs. Bickerstaff was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Matthew Bickerstaff, Talmo, grandchildren, Sidda Bickerstaff, Ceatin Bickerstaff, Isis Bickerstaff and Magdalene, brothers, Royce Smith (Shirley), Gainesville and Harry Smith, Murrayville, special friends and caregivers, Jimmy Smith and Jane Owens. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Mrs. Bickerstaff is preceded in death by her parents, son, David Bickerstaff and brother, Ricky Smith.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Cary Pittman and Rev. Michael Parker will officiate. Interment will be in the Open Door Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday May 20 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
