Patsy Flanagan Lothridge, 80 of Gainesville passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 17, 2022.
She was born to the late Hubert and Gladys Bulloch Flanagan in Newton County, Georgia on November 14, 1941. The family moved to Gainesville in 1948, where Patsy graduated from Gainesville High School. She worked as a special needs teacher for 32 years and volunteered in various community organizations after retirement. Patsy was a member of the Gainesville First United Methodist Church. She loved to read, enjoyed traveling and cherished her family. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother (Meme), and friend.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Gladys Bulloch Flanagan, son, Rob Lothridge, Jr., sister and brother-in-law, June and Richard Taylor, and special friend, Don Davidson.
Patsy is survived by children, Chad Lothridge, Melissa Robison, and Blake (Lisa) Lothridge, grandchildren, Ashley and Anna Lothridge, April (Baylee) Camp, Rob and Jacob Robison, great grandchildren, Brantley Bryant and Kai Lothridge, nieces and nephews, Vicki Lawton, Valerie Smith, and Richard Taylor, Jr., great nieces and great nephews, Amanda Lawton, Hayden and Serena Smith.
A visitation will be held at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday May 21, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held at the Alta Vista Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to say a special thanks to The Phoenix at Lake Lanier and all of the staff and also to Inspire Hospice for the love and care given to Patsy.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to one's favorite charity in memory of Patsy.
