Linda Carlisle Foster

Linda Carlisle Foster, age 73, of Buford, GA, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Mildred Wilkerson Carlisle; sister, Patricia Reid; brother, Ronnie Carlisle.  Mrs. Foster is survived by her husband of 56 years, James W. Foster of Buford, GA; daughters, Cheri Villegas of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Teri Megler (Mark) of Alaska; four grandchildren, Ricky Villegas, Christian Megler, Victoria Behymer, Matthew Megler; sisters, Sylvia McSwain (Ronald) of Memphis, TN, Judy Saunders (William) of Memphis, TN; brother, Larry Carlisle (Polly) of Memphis, TN; several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Foster was born on September 28, 1948 in Memphis, TN and graduated in 1966 from Oakhaven High School, Memphis, TN.  She retired from Atlanta Toyota as Assistant Manager of the body shop.  Mr. and Mrs. Foster lived in Duluth, GA for a number of years before moving to Buford, GA in 1989.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Coates officiating.  Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA, at a later date.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
