William Lewis Duncan, age 72, of Buford, GA, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 16, 2022. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was formerly employed by Gwinnett County and City of Flowery Branch as a heavy equipment operator. A North Gwinnett Graduate, Lewis was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed tending his goats, fishing, hunting and working outside. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Duncan, mother, Geraldine Nichols. Lewis leaves behind his beloved wife of 35 years, Gennie Hosch Duncan; daughters, Jessica and Samuel Graham, Sonja Cauldwell Camp; son Ashley Kyle and Teresa Brady; grandchildren, Ellison and Maddox Lane, Autumn, Ariel, Madison, Tyler, Kelsie and Brady Camp. Sisters, Sue and Leonard Williams, Linda and Bill Garner, Phyllis and Nabeel Al-Ayyah; sisters-in-law, Brenda Parr, Tammie Abadi; brothers-in-law, John D. Hosch and Mike T. Hosch. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Appling officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.
