Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Janice Mae Perkins Martin, age 84 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Friday, May 13, 2022. Mrs. Martin was born in Winder, Georgia a daughter of the late Edward and Ginny Skinner Perkins, was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin is preceded by her husband Haskin Martin, Jr.
Survivors include five children, Haskin Martin III of Jefferson, Susan Martin Wilbanks of Nicholson, Mary Dawn Griffin of Jefferson, Tony Paul Martin of Jefferson, and Kimberly Ann Wiley of Jefferson. One sister, Patricia Pugh of Montgomery, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Winder, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday, May 16, 2022.
