Frankie Joe Arrowood

Mr. Frankie Joe Arrowood, 76, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Arrowood, Pastor Ken Taylor and Rev. Frank Wyatt will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, May 15th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 16th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 17th until the service hour.

Born on August 19, 1945 in Banks County, GA he was the son of the late Arvel Arrowood and the late Rose Dalton Arrowood. He was retired from Arrow Tire Store where he was a mechanic. He was of the Christian faith. Mr. Arrowood was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Arrowood was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Saxon Arrowood and brother, Young Shubert.

Mr. Arrowood is survived by his brother and sister in law, Evangelist Jerry Arrowood and Jennifer of Lula; brother and sister in law, Fay Shubert and Evelyn of Newnan, GA; sister in law, Betty Shubert of Fairburn, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
