Mrs. Gaynell Satterfield, age 90 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Hamilton Place Personal Care Home following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Mike Irvin and Reverend Kyle Savage will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Satterfield was born March 15, 1932 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late William Ernest Smith and Fannie Elizabeth Latimer Clayton. She was retired from Reliance Electric and was of the Baptist Faith. Gaynell was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Reverend Reynolds Satterfield.
Mrs. Satterfield is survived by her children, 2 daughters and 3 sons, Linda & Phil Satterfield, Cindy & Keith Williams, Al & Renee Satterfield, David Satterfield and Troy Satterfield, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Ms. Gaynell had a host of extended family on the Allison and McHan side, whom she loved and adored. Our extended family was much appreciated.
