Alfredo Escobedo-Alonso

Mr. Alfredo Escobedo-Alonso, age 75 of Gillsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.   

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May14, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Father Mark Stan will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.     

Mr. Escobedo-Alonso was born March 20, 1947 in Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Guillermo Escobedo-Urquizo and Maria Guadalupe Alonso-Velasco.  He was retired from Primex Plastics and was of the Catholic Faith.  Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maria De La Luz Trujillo-Cruz and his son, Gustavo Escobedo.

Mr. Escobedo-Alonso is survived by his children, Alfredo Escobedo, Jr. of Gillsville, Oswaldo Escobedo of Gainesville, Maria Guadalupe of Oxnard, California and Maria Escobedo of Bakersfield, California.
