Johnny Loyd Smith

Johnny Loyd Smith, 68 of Murrayville passed away Tuesday May 10, 2022 at his residence.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Smith was the son of the late Ernest Wayne and Violet Montine Cagle Smith. He was retired from Stork-Gamco/ now known as Marel with over 42 years of service. 

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Thomason Smith, Murrayville, daughter and son-in-law, Gabrielle and Bennett Yarbrough, Oakwood, daughter, Danielle Smith, Columbia, Maryland, granddaughter, Sloan Yarbrough, Oakwood, brothers and sisters-in-law, Phillip and Susan Smith, Blountville, TN, Tommy Smith, Gainesville, Randall and Debra Smith, Gainesville, Susan Smith, Murrayville.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Pastor Stan Peck will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Emmanuel Gospel Fellowship Church Cemetery in White County.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday May 12, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
