Dolene Parker Kendall

Mrs. Dolene Parker Kendall, 95, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Herbert Kendall; son, Dennis Kendall; sister, Ethel Wynn; and brother, John Henry Parker.  Mrs. Kendall is survived by daughter, Gail (Bill) Thornton of Ellijay, GA; son Larry (Janet) Kendall of Statham, GA; five grandchildren, Becky Griffith, Larry Kendall, Jr, Amy Clements, Freddie Beamon, and Joey Beamon; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Kendall was born on May 1, 1927 in Cleburne County, Alabama. She retired from Boyle Midway in Atlanta as a finish operator after twenty-six years. Mrs. Kendall was a longtime member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Wade and Rev. Clyde Self officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9 at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until time for the service at 2:00 p.m.
