Evlena Canup Moore

Evlena Canup Moore, age 83 of Clarkesville, passed away Sunday May 1, 2022.

Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on April 15, 1939, Evlena was the daughter of the late Earl and Ethel Hamilton Canup. Evlena was a wonderful mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, spending time with family and going to the park.  She was retired from Clarkesville Mill.

In addition to her parents Evlena was preceded in death by her brother Earl Canup Jr.

Survivors include sons Don Moore of Clarkesville, Georgia, Jerry Moore of Cleveland, Georgia, granddaughter Jessica Moore Burnett (Taylor), great grandchildren Skyla Burnett, Taylen Burnett and Colston Burnett.

Evlena’s wishes were to be cremated with private interment in Demorest City Cemetery.
