Charles Kelly, Jr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charles Kelly, Jr., age 89 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, May 3, 2022.  Mr. Kelly was born in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Charles Kelly, Sr. and the late Sarah Lois Brooks Kelly.  Mr. Kelly was a retired Salesman with Copy Graphic Printing, was a member of the Penecostal Faith and attended The Jefferson Church, served his country in the Korean War as a Staff Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Kelly is preceded by his wife of sixty -four years, Barbara Carey Kelly and a son, Cameron Lee Kelly.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Kelly (Cheryl) of Jefferson, and Kyle Kelly (Lori Dodson) of Macon.  Daughter, Andrea Kimbrell of Pikeville, TN, sister, Emilee Thiessen of McDonough.  Grandchildren, Brooke Hagan, Kailey Kimbrough, Jamie Kimbrell, Jesse Kimbrell, Michael Pierce, Christian Kelly, Jessica Kelly along with many loving great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 7, 2022, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Nick Dalton officiating, the family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 9, 2022, at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia with military honors.
