Teresa Lynn Lance

  Mrs. Teresa Lynn Lance, age 61 of Toccoa, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Pruitt Health Nursing & Rehab following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Matthew Mote will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lance was born December 23, 1960 to the late Aubrey Lee Phillips and Melba Salter Phillips Cochran in Thomaston, Georgia.  She was employed with Stephens County Hospital as a CNA and was of the Baptist Faith.  Teresa loved singing with her beautiful voice and music put a smile on her face.  She loved and adored her grandbabies.  Teresa poured herself out for everyone asking very little for herself, never meeting a stranger and was loved by all that knew her.     

Mrs. Lance is survived by her husband, Donald “Beatle” Lance of Toccoa, her children, Tracey & Matthew Mote of Lula, Shane & Haley Adams of Lula, Warren & Kimberly Adams of Baldwin, Bonnie & Steve St. Pierre, Autumn Lance and Reeshia Lance, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sister, Debbie West of Toccoa, brother, Donnie Phillips of Toccoa and many nieces and nephews.
