John R. Valenti, age 46, of Buford, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, John Charles Valenti. Mr. Valenti is survived by his daughter, Madyson Valenti; mother, Theresa Rodriguez Valenti of Buford, GA; sister, Dawn Silver (Greg) of Buford, GA; nephew, Josh Silver; niece, Erynne Silver; grandmother, Mary Gomer of Arlington, TX; fiancée, Kathy Newman of Buford, GA; children; Manuel Buford, Christina Newman of Buford, GA, Katelyn Newman of Michigan, Michael Newman of FL; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Valenti was born on October 12, 1975 in Long Beach, NJ. He was employed with Cardinal Glass Co. for the past 14 years as Materials Manager. Mr. Valenti was a member of Free Chapel in Gainesville, GA. He enjoyed working out at the gym, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with all of his family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Flanigan Funeral Home.
