Luvennia Young Montgomery, 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Montgomery, Sr; sons, Robert Harold Montgomery, Jr and David Montgomery; daughters, Marshia Leevse Montgomery and Virginia Wright. Mrs. Montgomery is survived by children, Queen Rogers of Buford and Mary Nuckles (Bona) of Lawrenceville, GA; thirteen grandchildren, Shiquita Rogers, Trellis Anne Montgomery Norman (Timothy), Robert Harold Montgomery, III, Cedric Rogers, Veronica Wansley, Felton Montgomery, Luvenni Nuckles, Robert M. Montgomery (Mary Nuckles), Paul Wright, David Montgomery, Demaira Montgomery, Frederick Montgomery; forty great grandchildren; one great great grand. Mrs. Montgomery was born on September 25, 1933 in Gainesville, GA. She received her education from the Buford School system, and was retired from Medical Arts Nursing Home in Lawrenceville, GA. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of Union Baptist Church in Buford. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Elder John Haynes officiating. Interment will follow at Buford City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
